Common questions

Estimate or quote — what is the difference?

An estimate is usually an approximate price; a quote is often treated as a fixed offer. The generator uses "Quote" for the UK, Ireland and Australia and "Estimate" for the US.

Can I turn an estimate into an invoice?

Yes. When the job is done, go back to step one and switch the document to Invoice — your line items stay in place.
